Why cant I get all quotes online?

The Texas Board of Insurance regulates many of the branches of insurance products, and requires that a licensed agent provide professional advice on some products. Thus forcing all insurance agents to have a conversation with the client before quoting certain products.

When/What Is Open Enrollment?

Individual Medical Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment is the time when you can enroll in a plan for the new calendar year.
For Calendar Year 2019
Open Enrollment Begins On November 1, 2018 and Ends On December 15, 2018, for an effective date of January 1, 2019.
*All applications are subject to approval by the insurance carrier, based on proper completion of the application, timely submission, and premium paid within the timeframe required.

What is Special Enrollment?

Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs) are the times when you can apply for a new plan outside of Open Enrollment. To buy individual health insurance outside of Open Enrollment, you must qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to a qualifying life event like marriage (as long as one spouse is currently insured), birth or adoption of a child, or in-voluntary loss of employer health coverage. Proof of a Qualifying Event must be submitted with the application
